Both of my daughters have danced in the Dayton Ballet’s Nutcracker. Grace was a party girl the first year while Rebecca was a Small Angel. The second year Grace was a Small Angel and Rebecca was a Tall Angel. I hope they never forget how gracefully and beautifully they danced. I know I won’t.

Being a mother of today, we spend a lot of time in the car. Volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, volleyball, wrestling, etc. This year we have speech and debate to add to our R’epertoire. During that time we listen to the Nutcracker Suite over and over and over. Yes, a lot of Charlie Brown too.
