Double Coupons at Kmart This Week

Wind advisory in Dayton, Ohio today. This morning at 7:00 am the power went out. Yes, we had breakfast by candle light. The kids were texting and Facebooking to find out if they were going to have school. Within 15 minutes everyone knew there was a 2 hour delay. Yippee for me <sarcasm>.

The power came back on at 8:00 am. Yes, the kids were driving me nuts by 8:01. Great time to run to Kmart for double coupon deals.

I bought 4 bags of Hershey Chocolate Kisses, 4 bags of fun size Crunch bars (I’m loading up for Halloween - we usually get 350-400 Trick-or-Treaters), 1 kids toothpaste, 2 409 kitchen cleaners and 1 pkg. BIC Twin Select razors.

1 Toothpaste $2.29 ($1 coupon x 2 = $2) Final price = 29¢
2 409 Kitchen Cleaner $2.49 ea. ($1 coupon x 2 = $2) Final price 49¢ each
4 bags of Hershey Chocolate Kisses (on sale 2/$5)($1 coupons for each) Final price 50¢ each
4 bags of Nestle Fun Size Crunch bars (on sale 2/$5)($1 coupon for each) Final price 50¢ each
1 pkg. Bic Twin Select Razors (qty 14 $3.49)($2 coupon) Final price $1.49

Save your coupons even if you think you’ll never use them. I almost didn’t clip the chocolate coupons. Also, make sure you know the store rules. During double coupon specials my Kmart only doubles up to $2. I’ve heard of some Kmarts doubling up to $4. My Kmart will only honor 10 coupons for doubling and the total must be $25 before the use of coupons. Once you know how it works, it’s easy.
